In another first for Pub Quizzes, our Sunday quiz at the Wheatsheaf, Upton, Chester broke new ground with Chester’s first acoustic quiz. In the style of MTV’s ‘Unplugged’ series of gigs, our quizmaster threw away the microphone, amplifier and the music and performed the quiz in full analogue / Music Hall mode.

The CASH prize was won by Mike, Ant and gang with their new team name, 1995, with a score if 163, a whole six points ahead of Lethal Quizzle.

Ahead of December and the first of our Christmas themed quizzes, we gave away a pile of Advent Calendars and attempted to give away £150 of food and drink vouchers. We didnt have any winners on ‘Play Your Cards Right’, so there’s a rollover on Sunday 1st December.
