In one of the closest climaxes to our quiz in a long time, The Shy Teds lifted the trophy and trousered £25 CASH at tonight’s Sunday Night Pub Quiz at the Wheatsheaf in Upton, Chester. Their score of 211 beat ’90 Days To Go’ into second place by one point with a score of 210 and a a prize of £10. Third place went to the Truffle Shuffle who picked up £5 with a score of 208 – just three places behind.

We had one of our shortest games of all time on ‘Play Your Cards Right’ with our player falling at the first card. This means next week we have a total of £220 in vouchers to spend at any Sizzling Pub as our top prize.

We also had an impromptu game of The Generation Games Conveyor Belt, with a very swish Thornton’s Easter Bunny and Cadbury Chocolate Finger pack being picked up by The Truffle Shuffle (not a bad night for them 🙂 ).

We’re back this and every Sunday for Chester’s biggest quiz. It’s a great night whether you win or lose, and we start at 8pm sharp. £1 per player.
