At last! Just to show that persistence pays off, Soliton (starring Alan), finally won the Sunday Pub Quiz at the Wheatsheaf as a solo flyer.

It was another busy night with lots of our regular teams and some new ones (welcome), slogging it out with three rounds of general knowledge, the music round and ‘nearest wins’.

Alan was the first to hold our brand new trophy and will be looking to defend his pole position when we return on Sunday.

If you’ve not played a speed quiz on your phone before, everything you need to know is here, and we look forward to seeing you this Sunday at 8 at the Wheatsheaf, Upton, Chester.
